A German DXpedition ( Worked all Germany Contest and CQ WW DX Contest ) team of eight OPS

DL1AOB – Hansi, DL1AWD – Dieter, DL3JJ – Ralf, DL5SE – Dan, DL6JF – Felix, DL8ALU – Lu, DM5JBN Eddy and DK8YY Rich, will be active from Zakynthos Island – IOTA EU-052 as SW8YY between October 17-29, 2013.

The group will be active in the Worked all Germany Contest and the CQ WW SSB Contest. QRV on 160 – 10m in CW, SSB and Digimodes.

 TX5D RAIVAVAE ISLAND OC-114

Grant, KZ1W and Rob, N7QT will be heading to Raivavae Island on a shoestring mini-DXpedition as  TX5D October 2-14. They will be using the new CrankIR portable antenna system from SteppIR as well as Elecraft K3 transceivers and KPA500 amplifiers.
Their operational base will be two bungalows located next to the beach on the north side of Raivavae Island and less than 20 feet from the Pacific Ocean.  Activity will be on 80-10 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY or PSK.
