5U5U-5U6E-5U8NK DX PEDITION 2012 NIGER

The TL0A team is at it again, now to NIGER     

5U5U (TL0A), 5U6E (F6EXV) and 5U8NK (DJ8NK)

        Niamey, Oct 1st to Oct 15th 2012 

 During the Friedrichshafen 2012 HAMFEST, an informal talk between Jan DJ8NK and Paul F6EXV, along with Kan JA1BK, mentioned the desire for the TL0A team to go on an expedition together again : the 5U idea came up, and a phone call to TL0A (who hosted us in 2010 in Bangui, Central African Republic) very quickly resulted in "all arranged"... Well, not "all" was arranged, but the valuable contacts Chris made on his previous stay in Niger made up optimistics, and we started working on all arrangements in terms of visas, licenses, equipment and so forth. Now that everything is finalized, we are happy to announce this DXpedition to Niamey, the capital city of Niger.
